SUMMARY:Information Services Planned Upgrade Day
DESCRIPTION:Routine upgrades to the University’s mission critical networks
  and information systems are necessary to provide reliable and secure tec
 hnology-related services.  These upgrade activities are scheduled for tim
 es when the disruption to the University community are minimized.  Plan a
 ccordingly\, as the University’s networks and information systems will be
  unavailable during the upgrade period. \n\n\n\nMay 25\, 2019 from 12:01 
 a.m. – 12:20 a.m. – Internet on campus will be unavailable\, as we do an 
 upgrade to the internet firewall.\nMay 25\, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.
 m. – University networks and the majority of information systems will be 
 unavailable.  The Information Services team is moving critical services t
 o a more reliable hosting environment\, moving a database cluster to fast
 er hardware for performance improvement\, and implementing additional net
 work segmentation for added security.\n\n\n\n\nEmail and the Blackboard L
 earn systems will remain available. \n\n\nShould you have any questions o
