SUMMARY:Public Affairs Conference - Building community through storytelling
DESCRIPTION:Panel Session\n\n\nWe are bombarded with email\, Google search
es and YouTube videos. Now add spam\, calls\, Facebook posts\, tweets and
texts. It leads to burnout\, shrinking attention span and information ov
erload. This describes the mindset of many whom you are attempting to inf
luence: customers\, friends\, colleagues\, neighbors and family. For one
who is committed to delivering a meaningful\, memorable message\, the que
stion is: “How can I cut through the noise so my message is heard?” Accor
 ding to neuroscientists\, psychologists\, theologians\, sociologists and
marketers\, the answer is simple: storytelling. How do we harness the pow
er of story in our sound bite world? It’s time to bring back story time.\
