DESCRIPTION:Missouri State University hosts an Opioid Summit on Aug. 31\, 
 2018. It will feature a number of educational and impactful sessions. Ple
 ase join us for this essential event and become a partner in tackling the
  opioid epidemic that claims more than 90 lives every day. Refreshments w
 ill be offered at 8 a.m. and the summit will begin at 8:30 a.m. Following
  the education sessions\, we will have an Overdose Awareness Walk to Hamm
 ons Field\, where those interested can attend Recovery Night at Hammons F
 ield and watch the Springfield Cardinals play the Arkansas Travelers (tic
 kets sold separately). This free educational event is sponsored by the Mi
 ssouri State University Collegiate Recovery Program\, Better Life in Reco
 very\, Missouri Recovery Network and the Missouri Mental Health Foundatio
