Turner Family Hospitality Room SUMMARY:Bears in the Know Luncheon Series - COE Internship Academy DESCRIPTION:The MSU College of Education developed an innovative approach to teacher education beginning in 2014 called the Internship Academy.  Ed ucation students in their senior year may participate in a year-long\, fu lly immersive\, co-teaching experience in partnership with public school Master Teachers and Teachers in Residence.\n\n\nAcademy Director Sara Tip ton and Program Coordinator Robin Koerber will present data documenting g raduation\, certification and employment rates that approach 100 percent for Internship Academy participants.\n\n\nThe luncheon will be held in th e Turner Family Hospitality Room on the first floor of the Kenneth E. Mey er Alumni Center. Complimentary parking is available in the attached gara ge off of McDaniel Street.
