DESCRIPTION:The residential higher education experience is richly complex:
  academics\, athletics\, residence life and much more. Good library exper
 iences are a key component of creating educated adults. More than 750\,00
 0 visits are made annually to Duane G. Meyer Library. Libraries are combi
 ning information\, services and spaces in many innovative ways. Attractiv
 e\, comfortable and productive spaces and furnishings are key to overall 
 student learning\, retention and achievement. Meyer Library is in the mid
 st of a multi-year project to update and improve spaces throughout the bu
 ilding.\n\n\nDean Tom Peters and Associate Dean Rachel Besara will provid
 e an overview of the goals and progress to date regarding this massive pr
 oject.\n\n\nThe luncheon will be held in the Turner Family Hospitality Ro
 om on the first floor of the Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni Center. Complimentar
 y parking is available in the attached garage off of McDaniel Street. Fee
 l free to arrive any time after 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at approx
 imately 11:30 a.m.\, followed by the program at noon. The Missouri State 
 University Foundation is excited to host the Bears in the Know Luncheon S
