LLC is defined by the Association of American College and Universities (AAC&U) as a high -impact practice. Bears in the Know attendees will learn how first-year s tudents’ participation in a LLC impacts student transition and engagement \, which increases first-year student retention. Attendees will also lear n about ways to engage with this program.\n\n\nPresenters: Gary Stewart\, director\, Residence Life\, Housing and Dining Services\; Alisa Garbisch \, assistant director\, Residence Life-Student Success Initiatives\; Kati e Colip\, coord-success initiatives\; and Christopher Clark\, coordinator \, Residence Life-Student Success Initiatives.\n\n\nThe luncheon will be held in the Turner Family Hospitality Room on the first floor of the Kenn eth E.
