DESCRIPTION:The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice is sponsori
 ng Cops on Campus. This event will provide students\, faculty and staff w
 ith the opportunity to meet local law enforcement officers and learn abou
 t the roles they perform in the Springfield community. A number of units 
 from the Springfield Police Department will be represented\, including K-
 9\, Crime Scene\, Criminal Investigations\, Motorcycle\, Traffic/DWI\, Vo
 lunteer Coordinator and the Special Response Team. The event will be loca
 ted outdoors at Bearhead Plaza\, just north of the football stadium.\n\n\
 nShould weather result in cancellation\, a rain date is scheduled from 11
  a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 20.
