SUMMARY:Public Observing Night at Baker Observatory
DESCRIPTION:Please come out and see our newly updated facility and telesco
 pe. This will be a good night to view Mars\, Saturn and Nebulas. There wi
 ll be a quarter moon so galaxy viewing will not be ideal. \n\n\nAs always
 \, observing events will take place weather permitting. If the sky is loo
 king cloudy\, please be sure to check our Facebook page for updates or ca
 ll 417-836-5131 after 5 p.m. on the day of the event. In the event of a c
 ancelation on Nov. 16\, the observing night will take place at the same t
 ime on Nov. 17.\n\n\nNote that other adverse weather conditions\, such as
  tornado watches or wind advisories can also cause event cancellations. P
 lease do not call before 5 p.m. on the day of the observing event\, as it
  is unlikely that a decision will be made much before that. \n\n\nThe Bak
 er Observatory is located in Webster County approximately 10 miles northw
 est of Marshfield\, off Missouri Highway 38\, at 1766 Old Hillcrest Rd. A
  traffic attendant will be stationed at the intersection with Rose Bush D
 rive to direct parking.      \n\n\nPark facing left (south) in the parkin
 g lot. Turn off your headlights immediately after parking.

 t to see your way around the observatory entrance and grounds. Red tape o
