DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your interest in volunteering to be a Speed Netw
 orking mentor!\n\n\nNetwork with future alumni \n\n\nThis event helps stu
 dents learn about networking and discovering the “hidden job market\,” wh
 ile offering the opportunity to interact with local professionals. Regist
 ration is open to all Missouri State students.\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a networking
  “mentor” you allow students the opportunity to practice their networking
  skills through conversation. This is also a great opportunity for you to
  meet upcoming graduates and share about your own organization. \n\n\n\n\
 n\n are provided. Missouri State staff will guide students and volunteers
  through the event. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is divided into two segments.\
 n\n\n\n\n\nSegment one\n\n\nAt approximately 5 p.m.\,  begins with a brie
 f program from our sponsoring departments. \n\n\nAlumni and students will
  participate in 5-minute seated “speed rounds” where students will practi
 ce introductions one-on-one with .\n\n\nThe first segment runs about an h
 our.\n\n\nSegment two\n\n\nAlumni participants introduce themselves so st
 udents can identify anyone with whom they wish to connect.\n\n\nAlumni an
 d students casually network with each other. \n\n\nThe second segment run
 s about 45 minutes. Volunteers may leave when they need to after self-int
 roductions. \n\n\nAlumni volunteer information\n\n\nCheck-in - 4:30 p.m.\
