DESCRIPTION:Join American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters and students as
  we consider topics pertinent to our profession. We will engage in troubl
 e-shooting\, problem solving and relating to others of  “like mind.” So b
 ring your own topics that you would like to address.  This workshop will 
 address ethical decision making for working interpreters.  Participants w
 ill consider the RID Code of Professional Conduct and apply the codes to 
 specific interpreting scenarios.  A portion of the workshop will involve 
 working in groups as we consider possible outcomes and propose solutions 
 and ethical behavior.
