DESCRIPTION:The Composition Festival continues with a concert of chamber m
 usic written by guest composer Stephen Gryc and MSU Composition students.
  Included on the program is Gryc's "Fanfare: Dawn in the Arden Forest" fo
 r six horns\, performed by MSU horn students.\n\n\nGryc is professor emer
 itus of music composition and theory at the Hartt School of the Universit
 y of Hartford\, where he taught full time for 35 years. His music has bee
 n performed by a diverse group of ensembles\, such as the New Jersey Perc
 ussion Ensemble\, American Brass Quintet\, Avalon String Quartet\, Cascad
 ian Chorale\, United States Marine Band and Minnesota Orchestra. His musi
 c has been heard in 46 states\, 34 foreign countries and at 188 colleges 
 and universities worldwide.
