SUMMARY:2nd Annual MoState Student Summit 
DESCRIPTION:Missouri State University prides itself as being a Public Affa
 irs institution\, as well as its development of students who utilize the 
 three pillars of ethical leadership\, cultural competence and community e
 ngagement to guide their advancement as citizen leaders. Multicultural Pr
 ograms strives to build a stronger\, more culturally competent\, inclusiv
 e and progressive community at the university by promoting initiatives fo
 cused on student growth and development\, as well as the exploration of i
 dentity and self.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe #MoStateStudentSummit was created to se
 rve as a collaboration between Multicultural Programs and Diversity and I
 nclusion to engage undergraduate and graduate students in deeper involvem
 ent with the campus Collaborative Diversity Conference. The summit allows
  students to take on the roles as presenters and provide an interactive a
 nd transformative forum for participants to engage in critical discourse 
 around issues of social justice and make steps toward social change.\n\n\
 n \n\n\nThe theme of this year's conference is "Leading Across the Cultur
 al Divide." The 2019 MoState Student Summit is planned in collaboration w
 ith Mo State Lead.
