 present a lecture from Tarana Burke. Burke is the founder of the Me Too (
 #MeToo) movement and an advocate for survivors of sexual violence. Studen
 ts will hear Burke speak on her life experience and the Me Too movement.\
 n\n\nA civil rights activist from the Bronx\, Burke started the Me Too mo
 vement in 2006 when she laid out an action plan to reach out to survivors
  of sexual abuse. More than 10 years later\, she reflects on the power of
  empathy and how it can unite survivors to fight back. "We owe future gen
 erations nothing less than a world free of sexual violence\," she says. "
 I believe we can build that world."
