SUMMARY:CANCELED: Collaborative Diversity Conference
DESCRIPTION:The CDC seeks to strengthen its capacity as a conduit to some
of the best talent in diversity research\, intervention\, training techni
ques and cultural competence in the state of Missouri. This year's theme
brings those talents closer to the issues they solve by expanding network
s and cross-industry relations among all conference participants. The exe
cutive team understands that commitment to diversity best practices needs
both strategic support and input from fellow practitioners in the field.
In 2020\, we hope to inspire a more in depth commitment within each conf
erence presenter and participant as well as provide new and exciting mean
s for statewide collaborative achievement. \n\n\nJoin a statewide showcas
e of: \n\n\n\nCommunity-based approaches to promote and develop diversity
and inclusion initiatives to address contemporary community issues.\nCre
ative examples of research-based diversity program implementation in high
er education.\nUnique opportunities that promote access\, success and equ
ity for historically underrepresented groups.\nTargeted approaches to cul
tural competence/consciousness\, intervention for all community stakehold
 ers.
