SUMMARY:A Common Thread: A discussion about the interconnectedness of the 
 global LGBTQIA+ community
DESCRIPTION:International Programs and the Multicultural Resource Center a
 re collaborating for the First Friday Night ArtWalk through a virtual pan
 el. The main goal of our panel is to ask a series of questions to educate
  the public and bring more awareness regarding the LGBTQIA+ community and
  their experiences. We are wanting to focus on students and faculty shari
 ng their stories and what does it mean for individuals in all spaces at t
 he community i.e. students\, faculty\, staff\, to be part of the LGBTQIA+
  community. We will be featuring one of our international students who is
  willing to share his experience of identifying within the community in t
 he United States compared to his home country. As well as a faculty membe
 r\, and an MSU student. Sharing their own journeys of growth and identity
  as students and people at large.
