SUMMARY:Health Science Summer Day Camp for 9th-12th Students
DESCRIPTION:The Southwest Missouri Area Health Education Center will hold 
 a MASH Camp in Springfield from June 21-22 on the Southwest Baptist Unive
 rsity Springfield Campus.\n\n\nA short introduction to MASH Camp:\n\n\n• 
 MASH (Missouri AHEC Science and Health) Camp is a two-day camp for studen
 ts entering 9th-2th grade in Springfield and surrounding communities.\n\n
 \n• The camp will include activities and speakers who emphasize science a
 nd healthcare professions.\n\n\n• Most of the activities are scheduled fo
 r about a one-hour time slot (or more as needed) and the activities are a
 ssociated with the profession that is represented.\n\n\n• The camp will b
 e maxed at 20 students so register early!\n\n\nThe camp’s focus is to exp
 ose these young students to health care and the different fields it encom
 passes. The hope is that the early exposure will help them decide what fi
 elds truly interest them and guide their future career path.\n\n\nRegiste
