SUMMARY:Diversity Transition &amp; Support Coordinator Candidate Open Forum
DESCRIPTION:Student Affairs is happy to announce three candidates who will
  interview for the diversity transition and support coordinator position 
 in the Office of Multicultural Student Services. Each candidate will give
  a presentation at an open forum on the topic: What does cultural conscio
 usness mean to you and how will it inform your practice? \n\n\nCandidate 
 William Chase Neely\n\n\nPlease join us to interview William “Chase” Neel
 y. He's currently a lecturer of music and the director of percussion stud
 ies at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin\, Missouri. In this r
 ole\, he also serves as the recruitment coordinator and academic advisor 
 for the department. Additionally\, Neely is a member of the MSSU Internat
 ional Studies Planning Committee. Previously\, he has worked as a percuss
 ion instructor at both Missouri Southern and Northeastern Oklahoma A&amp;M Co
 llege in Miami\, Oklahoma. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Music Per
 formance from Missouri Southern\, his Masters in Music Instrumental Perfo
 rmance at the University of Arkansas\, and has gone on to get his Doctor 
 in Musical Arts at Texas Tech University\, to be completed in May 2022. \
