DESCRIPTION:Join us for "Code Talking: Shining a light on war-time heroes\
 ," presented by Dr. Bill Meadows\, professor of Anthropology and Native A
 merican Studies and author of six books\, whose work with native American
  veterans contributed to the passage of the Code Talker Recognition Act o
 f 2008 (Public Law 110-420) and Congressional Gold Medals for Native Amer
 ican Code Talkers.\n\n\nThe Missouri State University Foundation is excit
 ed to host this new series of luncheons designed to showcase  the many ty
 pes of genius at Missouri State University: from faculty research and ini
 tiatives\, to award-winning programs developed by staff and to students w
 inning national awards. Attendees will have an opportunity have personal 
 conversation with these geniuses and see first-hand the amazing work and 
 incredible impact they have.\n\n\nLuncheons will be held in the Turner Fa
 mily Hospitality Room on the first floor of the Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni C
 enter. Complimentary parking is available in the attached garage off of M
 cDaniel Street. Feel free to arrive any time after 11:30 a.m. Lunch will 
 be served at approximately 11:30 a.m.\, followed by the program at noon. 
 All sessions will be offered live via Zoom. Registration required for eit
