SUMMARY:Strategies for Integrating Digital and Face-to-Face Classrooms
DESCRIPTION:Join a cross-disciplinary group of faculty and engage in an ac
tive\, collaborative\, semester-long program about enhancing teaching and
learning. FLCs are teams of 8 to 10 faculty and members will engage in f
requent seminars and activities that provide learning\, development\, and
community building. Through participation in their community\, faculty w
ill build a product or plan in support of enhancing teaching and learning
. FLC’s are facilitated by FCTL Faculty Fellows or staff and usually meet
5 times during the semester for a total of 10 contact hours.  Members th
at successfully complete goals and objectives set by their community will
be eligible for a $500 mini grant to extend their learning and implement
their chosen project. \n\n\nThis community\, led by Dr. Eric Nelson\, wi
ll draw on our collective virtual teaching experiences over the past two
years to rethink how blurring outside-of-class and face-to-face creates r
icher learning environments for our students. Topics include creating out
comes based learning ecosystems\, preparing students for face-to-face tea
ching time\, and learning by doing in digital and seated environments. \n
\n\nPlease note that this is a series of sessions and you must register t
hrough My Learning Connection to be part of this Faculty Learning Communi
 ty.
