DESCRIPTION:Student-athletes represent a unique population on campus. Thes
 e students maintain rigorous academic schedules while balancing a variety
  of additional expectations\, including weights\, conditioning\, practice
 s\, study hall and competitions while bringing a mix of identities\, expe
 riences and motivations.\n\n\nStudent-athletes are also expected to meet 
 certain requirements and academic criteria passed down from the National 
 Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). These requirements are not always
  common knowledge to the larger campus community but are important to und
 erstand the unique challenges and experiences of our student-athletes.
