DESCRIPTION:Come for lunch and conversation about studying abroad as a per
 son of color. MSU alumnus Desmond Warren will discuss the skills he gaine
 d from studying abroad that helped him land a job\, learn a second langua
 ge and finetune his hard skills.\n\n\nWe’ll also share how studying abroa
 d can enhance your personal development and its potential to positively i
 mpact your life after graduation. Students will walk away with a better u
 nderstanding of what it means to study abroad as a person of color\, how 
 to talk to family members who are opposed to the idea and what profession
 al and personal skills can be gained through this once in a lifetime expe
 rience. One student will receive funding for a free passport at this even
 t!
