DESCRIPTION:With local elections on April 4\, it is important to learn who
  is running for office and understand their priorities and goals.\n\n\nIn
  a non-debate setting\, the Local Candidate Forum will host candidates ru
 nning for Springfield's mayor and city council. \n\n\nAttendees will also
  learn about the roles and responsibilities of our elected officials and 
 gain a better understanding of local politics and its importance in our d
 aily lives.\n\n\nThis in-person event is free and open to the public. \n\
 n\nHosted and sponsored by MSU's Paws to the Polls and the Office of Publ
 ic Affairs Support.
