DESCRIPTION:The Annual Missouri Egyptological Symposium this year (#MOEgyp
 t5) is enitled New Directions in Teaching Ancient Egypt and Nubia and wil
 l focus on teaching\, especially in the K-12 setting. The event is FREE a
 nd VIRTUAL\, sponsored by the American Research Center in Egypt\, Missour
 i Chapter\, and will take place on Saturday October 21\, from 9am-2:30pm\
 , but feel free to stop into all or just some of the sessions. The event 
 will feature talks by established Egyptologists\, PhD students\, and in-s
 ervice teachers. The keynote (10/21 9:30am) is presented by Dr. Jen Thum 
 of the Harvard Art Museum\, entitled Learning as We Go: Developing Best P
