SUMMARY:PAMS Seminar: "Development of Sensing Systems for Real-Time\, Wate
r Quality Measurements" by Dr. Carissa Jones
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Carissa JonesBrewer Science\, Inc.\n\n\nAbstract:\n\n\nAs
the world strives for sustainable and healthier living\, advances in tech
nology are paving the way for a future when monitoring to ensure safe dri
nking water is widely available and affordable to everyone. Brewer Scienc
e is developing next-generation water quality sensing systems that enable
real-time water monitoring. Our sensors can measure pH\, temperature\, a
nd conductivity as well as trace levels of analytes such as lead and nitr
ate. The theory and capabilities of our sensor technology will be present
 ed in this seminar.
