SUMMARY:Workshop: Invasive Queer Kudzu with Visiting Artist Aaron McIntosh
DESCRIPTION:Participants are invited to drop in any time between 1-6 p.m. 
 to participate in this workshop.The Queer Kudzu project raises visibility
  about Southern queer folks and their communities by using the metaphor o
 f kudzu to exponentially grow queer stories across the South. Participant
 s are invited to contribute their own S2LGBTQIA+ stories of thriving\, or
  ally messages of support\, to contribute to the growing mass of Southern
  queer kudzu stories. Participants will be provided with a cloth kudzu-sh
 aped leaf\, which they can write/draw/adorn with their stories using fabr
 ic markers\, embroidery floss and sparkly embellishments. For those who a
 re interested\, we will also be quilting the leaves\, adding a stem and t
 hen attaching them to the vines in McIntosh's exhibition "Entanglements" 
 at Carolla Arts Exhibition Center during the workshop.
