At the end of the seaso n\, girls participate in a celebratory 5k. The completion of the race sho ws them that with hard work and dedication any goal can be reached.\n\nRe gistration for the event will begin in Carrington Hall between 8:30-9:30 am and the 5k will begin at 10:00 am by the North Mall. The event is expe cted to bring in over 400 people including participants\, volunteers\, an d parents.\n\nMissouri State University students and faculty are encourag ed to get involved with the event. The event is open to the community\, a nyone interested in participating in the 5k can register here. The event is also looking for volunteers to help with set-up\, clean-up\, and espec ially to cheer alongside the race way.
