SUMMARY:Open Forum: Executive Director for Multicultural Programs
DESCRIPTION:Yvania Garcia-Pusateri is the Assistant Director of Diversity 
 Affairs and Coordinator of Diverse Student Development in the Office of t
 he Diversity Affairs at Miami University of Ohio. She is currently a Ph.D
 . Candidate in the Leadership\, Culture and Curriculum program in the Edu
 cational Leadership Department at Miami University. Her dissertation expl
 ores how multicultural centers foster the identity development of Latino 
 students as well as how it impacts their experiences at predominately whi
 te institutions (PWI). She plans to focus her research on multicultural c
 enters and their connection to identity development as well as their impa
 ct on students of color at PWIs. Yvania has experience in large scale pro
 gramming\, student organization advisement\, fostering campus partnership
 s\, social media management\, advocacy\, strategic planning\, supervision
 \, and coalition building.  We are excited for Yvania to visit Missouri S
