DESCRIPTION:Every organization has its own challenges in regards to managi
 ng communications and interactions with diverse groups. A first step is l
 earning to appreciate and understand the wealth of diversity that your st
 aff and organization interact with on a day-to-day basis. The purpose of 
 this course is to define diversity\, to gain an appreciation for the fact
 ors that create boundaries and to develop strategies for building bridges
  to the diversity that can create opportunities for your business or orga
 nization.\n\n\nAfter completion of the course\, participant should be abl
 e to:\n\n\nDefine diversity Describe the timeline and significance of the
  events in the American Civil Rights movement Interpret the difference am
 ong awareness\, compliance and advocacy Apply and synthesize the influenc
 e of the UN's Declaration of Universal Human Rights and specific legislat
 ion\, case law and best practices on business practices Describe a busine
 ss' obligation to human rights Define generational diversity and describe
  characteristics of the 4 working generations Develop strategies for cult
 ivating a culture of inclusiveness Implement best practices for communica
 tion in a diverse workplace and global marketplace Other custom needs dev
