DESCRIPTION:Happiness not only feels good\; it is good. Happy people have 
 more stable marriages\, superior health and higher incomes. Fortunately\,
  experiments have shown that people can intentionally increase their happ
 iness. In this presentation\, Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky will describe brand n
 ew research on the “how” of happiness – that is\, when and why such pract
 ices as gratitude or kindness work “best” and how small and simple activi
 ties can transform people into happier and more flourishing individuals.\
 n\n\nDr. Lyubomirsky is professor of psychology at the University of Cali
 fornia\, Riverside\, and author of “The How of Happiness” and “The Myths
