DESCRIPTION:Dr. Sarah Elsea\, a 1990 MSU graduate and recipient of the Pre
 sidential Scholarship\, is an Associate Professor of Molecular and Human 
 Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. from Vande
 rbilt University\, where she completed a post-doctoral fellowship in enzy
 mology. Dr. Elsea also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in human mole
 cular genetics at Baylor College of Medicine. The American Board of Medic
 al Genetics has certified her in Clinical Biochemical Genetics.\n\n\nDr. 
 Michael Grotewiel received his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University after ear
 ning his B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He completed a po
 st-doctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Grotewiel recei
 ved the NIH Research Career Development Award from 2001 to 2006 and the O
 utstanding Departmental Teaching Award in Health Sciences Education in 20
 07. He is a member of the Genetics Society of America and the Research So
 ciety on Alcoholism.
