DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Dr. Greg Garrison\, a 1988 Missouri State University 
 graduate\, received a degree in chemistry\, and then went on to earn his 
 doctorate in chemistry at Oklahoma State University. After he earned his 
 Ph.D.\, Cambridge Isotope Laboratories hired him as a senior chemist.\n\n
 \nDr. Garrison joined Schlumberger\, the world’s largest oilfield service
 s company\, in 1995. With Schlumberger\, he held several positions\, focu
 sed mostly on technology and field support. Dr. Garrison managed a techno
 logy center\, assisted in the research and development group in testing n
 ew technology and deploying marketing plans\, and quickly became responsi
 ble for all cementing technology and support at Schlumberger. His next po
 sition with Schlumberger was cementing technology manager for North and S
 outh America\, in Houston\, Texas.\n\n\nSince Dr. Garrison’s departure fr
 om Schlumberger\, he has worked in several different ventures\, including
  start-up activities in Libya\, Mexico and Texas. In Mexico\, the cementi
 ng service company he started from the ground up was successful and sold 
 in 2010. He currently owns several companies\, including Oilfield Testing
  and Consulting located in Houston\, Texas.
