DESCRIPTION:Dr. Michael White from Arizona State University is a national 
 expert on police body-worn cameras. He will present a talk\, followed by 
 Q&amp;A and a discussion session.\n\n\nAt Arizona State University\, Dr. Whit
 e is a professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice\, the 
 associate director of the Center for Violence Prevention and Community Sa
 fety and the director of the Criminology and Criminal Justice Doctoral Pr
 ogram.\n\n\nHe is a senior subject matter expert for the Bureau of Justic
 e Assistance’s Smart Policing Initiative and the co-director of Training 
 and Technical Assistance for the U.S. Department of Justice Body-Worn Cam
 era Policy and Implementation Program. He testified about body-worn camer
 as before the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing.\n\n\nDr. W
 hite is currently conducting a multi-site randomized controlled trial tes
 ting the impact of police officer body-worn cameras in Tempe\, Arizona\, 
 and Spokane\, Washington.
