DESCRIPTION:From Sustainable to Store-Bought: A Mexican Family’s Move to S
 pringfield\n\n\nThis film documents the subsistence activities of a famil
 y in a rural village in central Mexico whose members continue to grow and
  prepare their own food in a sustainable way. When some family members im
 migrated to Springfield\, Missouri\, their subsistence changed to wage-ea
 rning jobs and grocery-store food.  The film shows the contrast between t
 he traditional foodways of the village and the immigrants’ diet in Spring
 field\, and points out environmental and health implications. \n\n\nAudie
