SUMMARY:Bears in the Know Luncheon Series - Southwest Missouri: A Hub for 
 Hospitality Education and Research
DESCRIPTION:Southwest Missouri supports a thriving hospitality and tourism
  industry. As a result\, the area provides an ideal living laboratory for
  hospitality education and research. From internships to research\, stude
 nts and faculty of the Department of Hospitality Leadership work to conne
 ct classroom content with practical application.Presenters Dr. Stephanie 
 Hein\, department head\, and Dr. Albert Barreda\, assistant professor in 
 the Department of Hospitality Leadership\, will highlight the academic an
 d industry collaborations taking place in the department.The luncheon wil
 l be held in the Turner Family Hospitality Room on the first floor of the
  Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni Center. Complimentary parking is available in th
 e attached garage off of McDaniel Street. Feel free to arrive any time af
 ter 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at approximately 11:30 a.m.\, followe
 d by the program at noon. The Missouri State University Foundation is exc
