DESCRIPTION:The Wine &amp; Food Celebration returns to the White River Confere
 nce Center for its 30th anniversary. For three decades\, the Wine &amp; Food 
 Celebration has been one of Springfield’s most celebrated events. It incl
 udes delicious food from Springfield’s finest restaurants\, hundreds of w
 ines\, craft beer and specialty cocktails.  \n\n\nIt’s great food\, great
  drink and great times ... all for a great cause –proceeds benefit childr
 en’s programming on Ozarks Public Television (OPT). OPT reaches approxima
 tely 50\,000 kids in Southwest Missouri each week with research-based edu
 cational programming designed to ensure that all children across the Ozar
 ks enter school ready to succeed. OPT invests more than a quarter of its 
 budget – over $500\,000 each year – on children’s programming. And becaus
 e OPT is available through free\, over-the-air television\, it reaches al
 l families\, regardless of income levels.
