DESCRIPTION:The Modern and Classical Languages Department and Pragda Spani
 sh Film Club are pleased to announce that they are bringing to campus the
  2017 Hispanic Film Festival. This film series will present a wide range 
 of award-winning movies spanning different parts of Latin America to show
 case identity and culture through migration.\n\n\nScreening: The Travel A
 gent (2015) (Pequeñas mentiras piadosas)\n\n\nFrom her tiny office overlo
 oking the U.S interests section\, Lourdes counsels thousands of Cubans se
 eking a U.S. travel visa. She coaches them on answering tricky questions 
 and fine-tuning their stories so they have a better chance of succeeding.
  Despite helping others to travel\, she has never been able to visit her 
 own mother\, son\, brothers\, grandsons and newphews in Florida. After a 
 long wait\, Lourdes' time has finally come: her interview is set. Her dre
 am to visit her dying mother\, who emigrated during the sixties\, has nev
 er been so close. Will she be able to travel and finally overturn her des
 tiny of forced separation?
