 is the author of The Principles Behind Floatation (Skyhorse\, 2017)\, des
 cribed in a Booklist starred review as a debut novel that\, "masterfully 
 chronicles the friction\, contradictions and emotional tsunamis of being 
 an intelligent 14-year-old girl\," and two books of poetry - The Wise and
  Foolish Builders (Persea\, 2015) and Mortal Geography (Persea\, 2010)\, 
 winner of the 2009 Lexi Rudnitsky Prize and the 2010 California Book Awar
 d.\n\n\nShe is co-editor of the forthcoming anthology Bullets into Bells:
  Poets and Citizens Respond to Gun Violence (Beacon\, 2017).\n\n\nTeague 
 earned her MFA in Poetry from the University of Florida in 1998 and her B
 A in English with a Creative Writing emphasis from Missouri State Univers
 ity in 1996.\n\n\nThe recipient of a 2006-08 Stegner Fellowship and a 201
 1 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship\, Teague is currently an ass
 ociate professor in the MFA program at the University of Idaho and an edi
 tor for Broadsided Press.
