DESCRIPTION:This recital features vocal music composed by MSU Professor of
  Music Michael F. Murray\, performed by MSU voice faculty Carol Chapman\,
  Chris Thompson and Genevieve Fulks and accompanied by MSU music faculty 
 Peter Collins\, Kathy Murray and Allison Storochuk\, plus a string orches
 tra comprised of Springfield's finest perfomers.\n\n\nMusic to be perform
 ed includes Penny Whistles for soprano\, clarinet and piano\, based on po
 etry from Robert Louis Stevenson's "A Child's Garden of Verses" and Neutr
 al Tones for baritone and viola\, based on poetry by Thomas Hardy. Also f
 eatured will be the world premiere performances of Genevieve's Cats for s
 oprano and piano\, based on poems about cats by Wordsworth\, Yeats and Ke
 ats\, and The Last Invocation for soprano and string orchestra with piano
