DESCRIPTION:Dr. Thomas Heitmann\, Instrument Scientist at University of Mi
 ssouri at Columbia's neutron scattering facility\, will give a seminar on
  Thursday\, October 5. Currently\, he is working on characterizing &amp; mode
 ling Li diffusion\, and collaborates with Drs. Ridwan Sakidja and Saibal 
 Mitra from PAMS Department. Dr. Heitmann received his B.S in Physics from
  Valparaiso University in 2000\, and earned a PhD in Physics from Univers
 ity of Wisconsin in 2005. He spent 3 years doing postdoc work at Syracuse
  University before his arrival at MU in 2008. His expertise is in neutron
  scattering.
