DESCRIPTION:The Art Education Program and the Student Exhibition Center at
  Missouri State University will host an opening reception for the Statewi
 de Juried Art Exhibition for secondary school teachers and their students
 . This reception will showcase selected works from teachers and students 
 who represent the talent from all areas of the state. The winners of the 
 juried show will be announced during the reception.\n\n\nThe goal of the 
 exhibition is to give teachers an opportunity to participate in a competi
 tive\, juried exhibition\, and inspire young artists by providing a platf
 orm for their work to be displayed in a college venue. \n\n\nRefreshments
  and food will be provided. \n\n\nThe exhibition runs Nov. 3-20.
