DESCRIPTION:The 2018 Missouri State University Department of Music Composi
 tion Festival presents Music in Media: a Q &amp; A session with Bob Lord and 
 Tyler Durham. \n\n\nOur guests will discuss their experiences in writing 
 music for media\, as well as licensing and placement in film\, TV and adv
 ertising. There will be ample time for discussion\, so please come with q
 uestions!\n\n\nBob Lord is CEO of PARMA Recordings\, a full-service music
  company providing services in licensing\, publishing\, marketing and dis
 tribution. He has an extensive background as a composer\, producer and pe
 rformer. With PARMA\, Lord regularly produces recording sessions in count
 ries across the globe\, including the United States\, Czech Republic\, Ru
 ssia\, Cuba\, Slovakia\, Romania\, Poland and Croatia.\n\n\nMSU graduate 
 Tyler Durham (BM\, ’15) is a Los Angeles-based composer who writes award-
 winning music for films and games. He currently works as an assistant to 
 Hollywood composer James Newton Howard (Hunger Games series\, Fantastic B
 easts\, The Dark Knight\, King Kong\, Pretty Woman and many more).
