DESCRIPTION:This is an event leading up to the Public Affairs Conference a
 nd sponsored by MSU's EcoReps and Environmental Management.  \n\n\nStuden
 t organizations working with community leaders and institutions will host
  hands-on workshops highlighting various sustainability issues. \n\n\nThe
  American Fisheries Society will be partnering with the Watershed Committ
 ee of the Ozarks and the James River Basin Partnership to present a rivet
 ing workshop on water quality.  The Forestry Club will demonstrate how to
  properly cultivate shiitake mushrooms\, the Horticulture Club and the Ag
 ronomy Club will present a workshop on the correct way to propagate plant
 s\, and the Beekeeping Club will host a live hive demonstration with one 
 of MSU’s actual hives followed by a honey tasting event.  Also\, the Ozar
 ks Amateur Astronomer’s Club will present on light pollution and the Eco-
 Reps will host a workshop about waste reduction and recycling.
