SUMMARY:NASA Public Observing Night at Baker Observatory
DESCRIPTION:The public may visit the Baker Observatory during public viewi
 ng events that are conducted by the Physics\, Astronomu and Materials Sci
 ence Department. It's free and families are welcome. Carpooling is encour
 aged due to limited parking area.\n\n\nAs always\, observing events will 
 take place weather permitting. If the sky is looking cloudy\, check our F
 acebook page for updates or call 417-836-5131 after 5 p.m. on the day of 
 the events. Note that other adverse weather conditions\, such as tornado 
 watches can also cause event cancellations. Please do not call before 5 p
 .m. on the day of the observing event\, as it is unlikely that a decision
  will be made much before that. Be sure to follow the department's Facebo
 ok page for the latest updates on observing nights and other departmental
  events\, and check the university's master calendar for all MSU happenin
 gs.\n\n\nThe Baker Observatory is located in Webster County approximately
  10 miles northwest of Marshfield\, off Missouri Highway 38\, at 1766 Old
  Hillcrest Rd. A traffic attendant will be stationed at the intersection 
 with Rose Bush Drive to direct parking. PARK FACING LEFT (SOUTH) IN THE P
 ARKING LOT. TURN OFF YOUR HEADLIGHTS IMMEDIATELY AFTER PARKING.\n\n\nGPS
