SUMMARY:Youth Empowerment Summit 2018 
DESCRIPTION:The Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) is a single-day conference 
 to help advance the achievements of Springfield high school students and 
 help them gain access to higher education. \n\n\nYES sessions are broken 
 into two tracks\, where students are separated by grade level focusing on
  social responsibility\, community engagement\, college access and identi
 ty development. These tracks are facilitated by Missouri State University
  staff and students\, as well as community members. \n\n\nThe conference 
 is free and open to any high school student. RSVP is required through the
  respective schools. Lunch will be provided.\n\n\nYES is planned by the N
 AACP Springfield Chapter\, Multicultural Services in conjunction with Adm
 issions and Enrollment Management\, Missouri State University staff and f
 aculty\, and Springfield Public Schools.
