The Romans even extended thei r vineyards as far as Romania and many of those regions continue to produ ce the same style of wine. Each region of Italy produces a varietal of wi ne that is often unique\, such as Lacryma Christi which is grown on the s lopes of Mt. Vesuvius. But wines are also part of cuisine\, not only in t he recipes of various dishes\, but with regard to how they are paired wit h particular dishes. And\, did you ever wonder about what happens to the husks of those grapes that are not part of the process? There's a good st ory there\, too!
