FLCs are teams of 8 to 10 faculty and members will engage in f requent seminars and activities that provide learning\, development\, and community building. Through participation in their community\, faculty w ill build a product or plan in support of enhancing teaching and learning . FLC’s are facilitated by FCTL Faculty Fellows or staff and usually meet 5 times during the semester for a total of 10 contact hours. Members th at successfully complete goals and objectives set by their community will be eligible for a $500 mini grant to extend their learning and implement their chosen project.\n\n\nThis community\, led by Stacy Rice and Eric T aylor\, will explore alternative flexible modalities and technologies tha t support student-centered\, active learning instructional strategies. Ea ch session will focus on specific tools and digital resources that enhanc e student engagement\, provide students with better access to information \, and meet the needs of diverse learners and faculty.
