She is the seafood & aquaculture section lead\, since 2019\, and has been a wastewater perm it writer with the state of Alaska for 10 years\, primarily focused on se afood and aquaculture permitting.\n\n\nEbert will discuss her position wi th the state of Alaska and the program she is involved with. She will sha re the path she took to get to her professional position/career after att ending Missouri State University. She is originally from Wisconsin\, wher e she obtained her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a comprehensive degree in resource management. Immediate ly upon completion of her master's degree here\, she "drove to Alaska wit h her husband Pat\, black lab Barley and their trusty Tacoma." They have been living in Juneau ever since (2010).\n\n\nShe most recently worked as the lead permit writer for the re-issuance of the AKG523000 Offshore Sea food Processors General permit and the issuance of the AKG521000 Onshore Seafood Processor in Alaska General Permit. Additionally\, Ebert has over 10 years of volunteer mountain rescue experience throughout the state of Alaska\, including serving as the president of the Board of Directors fo r Juneau Mountain Rescue (JMR) since 2019.\n\n\nOutside of her position w ith the state of Alaska\, she enjoys skiing as much as possible\, running in the mountains\, exploring Southeast Alaska in her boar\, and harvesti ng all the wonderful seafood\, meat and forage-able items Alaska has to o ffer.
