Theater SUMMARY:PAW Presentation - Better Together: Bridging Interfaith Barriers DESCRIPTION:Eboo Patel will discuss his personal and professional interfai th journey and how we all\, students in particular\, can make a positive impact through interfaith communication and engagement with one another. \n\n\nPatel founded Interfaith Youth Core on the idea that religion sh ould be a bridge of cooperation rather than a barrier of division. He is inspired to build this bridge by his identity as an American Muslim navig ating a highly religiously diverse social landscape. For more than 15 yea rs\, he has worked with governments\, social sector organizations and col lege and university campuses to help make interfaith cooperation a social norm. Named by U.S. News & World Report as one of America’s Best Leaders of 2009\, Patel served on President Obama’s Inaugural Faith Council and is the author of Acts of Faith\, Sacred Ground and Interfaith Leadership.
